Geometric Algebra

The purpose of this page is to provide content of mathematical nature as simple and thorough as possible. New content is uploaded when it is considered done.

Geometric Algebra is a high level algebraic language containing geometric objects as some of its elements and where geometric operations and transformations are part of the algebra.

Geometric algebra has an extension to geometric calculus, which unify, simplify, and generalize vast areas of mathematics including linear algebra, multi-variable calculus, real analysis, complex analysis, and euclidean, non-euclidean, and projective geometry. It provide a unified mathematical language for engineering, classical and quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, relativity, computer science subjects like computer vision and robotics.

Geometric Algebra Files on this site.

The algebraic fundamentals can be found on the following page: Clifford and Geometric Algebra Structures, where the files below are available for free download.

Recommended sites and other related to the field of Geometric Algebra

This section features recommended sites and other relevant elements in relation to the topic.

The following page has a lot of content on the subject: Geometricalgebra.net. Therefore, this is definitely a site, that is recommend for geometric algebra.

Alan Macdonal of Luther College has made a very fine introduction to the topic called A Survey of Geometric Calculus and Algebra. It only requires an understanding of linear algebra and vector calculus to read the paper.

Here is a link special recommended for physicists. It is mainly contributions of C.J.L. Doran and A .N. Lasenby at University of Cambridge. Here is also free lecture notes:   http://geometry.mrao.cam.ac.uk/
